Accessory Dwelling Units

Big changes start with small ideas.

We are committed to helping homeowners, builders, and investors who want to create housing that’s affordable by design.

Accessory dwelling units (ADUs) and small homes have been around a long time. Sometimes referred to as in-law units, cottage homes, or tiny homes, they are small units on a residential property which can either be attached to the primary house or detached as a separate unit.

People don’t need gigantic homes. Small spaces should have separability and flexibility. They should provide privacy and flow. A good designer can give you both and work within the constraints of your backyard or converted garage.

Ready to Go Plan Sets

Building an ADU has become a lot easier than it used to be. We offer three pre-packed plan sets at a discounted rate from out normal pricing.

400-500 SF Unit Above the Garage or garage conversion

750-800 SF Unit available in two configurations

A one or two bedroom small home or ADU can comfortably fit in the backyard of most lots. At this size a single bedroom allows for a more spacious bedroom and living room. However, if more privacy is desired or more people will be living in the home, smaller bedrooms with individual bathrooms are incorporated into the first design option below. Email or call us to take the next step for building one of these ADUs.

The Taylor

Add a 950-1000 SF Unit in the Backyard

This one is designed to include one larger bathroom to save on the construction costs of building a second bathroom. However, it’s large enough to include a second bathroom accessible from bedroom #1 if that is a priority.
